Colección: DTTAC Distance Lifestyle Coach Training

The Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center's (DTTAC) Distance Lifestyle Coach Training prepares individuals to serve as Lifestyle Coaches to deliver the evidence-based National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP). 

The Distance Training Advantage

The DTTAC Distance Lifestyle Coach Training provides you with the same high-quality experience and in depth learning as the in-person training except it utilizes the Zoom platform. 

Completing the guided coursework and attending the 3-day live sessions is required to successfully complete the training and receive a Certificate of Completion.

Note: Trainees will need a computer with internet and a camera to participate in the live virtual sessions.


DTTAC Distance Lifestyle Coach Training™ includes:

  • A 3 day interactive virtual training designed around adult learning and health education principles

  • Interactive, innovative learning delivered virtually by expert DTTAC Master Trainers

  • Opportunities to practice facilitation and receive feedback from expert Master Trainers

  • Class size of 10-15 participants, increasing the student-to-teacher ratio

  • 13 credit hours of training

  • Networking with other trainees from around the country

  • Innovative and engaging virtual learning experience that ensures competency and readiness to be a successful Lifestyle Coach

Tuesday        1:00pm – 5:30pm  Eastern Time (ET)

Wednesday   1:00pm – 5:30pm  ET

Friday           1:00pm – 5:30pm  ET

CEU Credits

    CEU credits are available for Registered Dietitians, Certified Diabetes Educators and Certified Health Education Specialists. Credits are available for an additional $25 fee.
