Wait, Wait Don’t Leave: Keeping Participants Engaged in the Yearlong Program
Competency: Fidelity
Training Length: 60 minutes
Achieving CDC preliminary and full recognition requires in part that participants consistently attend their lifestyle change program sessions in line with DPRP standards. Furthermore, attending these sessions and engaging in the strategies discussed and discovered is critical for participants to reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes. Organizations delivering the program know these things to be true, yet retaining participants in the lifestyle change program remains a challenge. In this webinar, Lifestyle Coaches and program coordinators will explore barriers and facilitators for participant engagement and retention and offer practical tips your organization can use to help participants find success in the program and experience lifestyle change.
