DTTAC offers the following continuing education (CE) credits for those who register and complete DTTAC's Lifestyle Coach Training (in-person or virtual):
Registered Dietitians and Certified Diabetes Educators:
- In-person Lifestyle Coach training: 10.0 hours through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Virtual Lifestyle Coach training: 16.0 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU) hours through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Health Educators (CHES):
Sponsored by the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
- In-person Lifestyle Coach Training: This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 13.5 total Category I contact education contact hours for the in-person training. Maximum advanced-level continuing education contact hours available are 0.

Virtual Lifestyle Coach training: This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 16.0 total Category I contact education contact hours for the in-person training. Maximum advanced-level continuing education contact hours available are 0
Registered Nurses (CNE):
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Alabama State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The following contact hours have been approved; which will be granted upon successful completion of the training:
- In-person Lifestyle Coach Training: 13.5 contact hours
- Virtual Lifestyle Coach Training: 16 contact hours
