About the Master Trainer Select™ (MTS) program:
The Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC) at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health offers the Master Trainer Select™ (MTS) program to enable organizations to increase their capacity for the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) by training Lifestyle Coaches within their organizations or networks. DTTAC Master Trainer Select™ program provides your organization with quality control and training standards. According to the CDC, having Lifestyle Coaches who are properly trained to implement the lifestyle change program is vital for high program quality and consistent results. Having effective Lifestyle Coaches to deliver the program starts with quality training from a Master Trainer. Master Trainer Select™ status is renewed annually to maintain benefits and services received from DTTAC.
Renewal Requirements:
Due by December 13th, 2024
- Submit MTS Renewal Payment
- Submit a Renewal Questionnaire
- Submit a Renewal Organization Commitment Form
- Attend a Renewal Training Webinar: December 11, 2024, 1:00-3:00pm EST and complete a post-webinar survey
Once MTS have completed the above requirements, their MTS status will remain active for the next active renewal year, which will be from January 1st, 2025 - December 21, 2025
If MTS do not complete ALL the requirements by the specified deadline, their status will be changed to inactive.
