Training Length: 60 minutes

When access to food is limited, making healthy choices becomes even more difficult. This session focuses on how food insecurity, including issues with affordability, availability, and access, can affect participants attempting to make lifestyle changes. Lifestyle Coaches will learn how to recognize signs that a participant may be facing these challenges and explore practical, respectful ways to adapt program delivery. From supporting realistic goal-setting to offering local resource ideas, this session equips coaches to meet participants where they are and help them move forward.

This webinar has been updated to reflect the current climate and includes updates examples and resources.

All DTTAC Advance™ Webinars qualify as Advanced Coach Training (ACT) for Lifestyle Coaches and Program Coordinators now required under CDC's DPRP Standards.
